Description

Kashmiri polychrome decorated two tier table the top centred by Lord Vishnu on thousand headed Shesh Nag with Lakshmi at his feet and Shiva on a leopard skin.

A curious mix of Kashmiri, Mughal and Safavid styles almost certainly commissioned for a Hindu customer.

Kashmiri, circa 1880.

Measures 55cm tall, 46cm across the top and is in wonderful condition.
