Description

Medium sized antique Sandtimer / Hourglass in oak and pine. Circa 1850.

Original glass contained within circular geometrical cage constructed from five turned pine decorative pillars. The top and bottom constructed in oak with superb aged patina. Fine grained golden sand, timing at approximately 2 hours. Faint ink script reading "1 Hour" on top of roundel. Most likely English.

In excellent original condition with sand flowing freely between bulbs. Rare item.

Display table not included in sale.
