High quality leather Gladstone bag with brass mounts. Often referred to as a Doctors Bag. Circa 1920s.The high grade leather and stitching is in excellent condition. The leather underside is of similar condition and sits slightly raised from the ground on 6 large protective brass studs. The closing mechanisms are of heavy duty brass construction at both ends, fully working, and rotate to an open or closed position. The central brass locking mechanism is also heavy duty with double-latching. Sorry no key.There is a removable interior tray compartment with leather lining. The linen interior of the main bag is also in excellent condition with no tears, and forms two pockets inside the bag.Additional Notes :1.
