A superb antique Victorian inlaid rosewood drop leaf side table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.
It is of extremely fine quality, the rosewood has stunning grain patterns and absolutely beautiful inlays of satin wood. The drop leaf sides lift up and are held up by hinged supports to extend the surface area. There are two drawers with brass handles at the front, the back is also nicely finished so this can be used as a free standing item. The legs are beautifully turned and stand on brass casters.
We have had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
The wood is Santos rosewood, and does not need a CITES or article 10.
