High quality German Porcelain footed vase with two gilded handles, middle of 19th century. The piece has a rich dark cobalt blue ground which has been hand-painted with the finest gold pattern. The gold color is like antique bronze. Vase decorated with pink flowers mixed with gold patterns on the outer and inner sides. The base is made of a ridged metal frame with four legs painted in the noble color of antique bronze. Nice and rare European work in the style of the Dresden masters. The early Dresden porcelain famous for its featured finely detailed, brightly colored painted scenes, often with ornate gilding. Some of the most popular early designs included figurines, tableware, and vases, which were often adorned with floral motifs, landscapes, and other decorative elements.
