All original other than a new catch for the trigger clasp, made from old brass, the hinge section on the block has been replaced, probably due to wear, and wooden collar added to the underside top of the birdcage, again probably due to wear, in order to keep the top of the stem in place when rotating. Some old marks and blemishes on the top, now well polished in. Very good colour, lovely patina, with very good wax polish. No obvious signs or damage or repair. Sensitively cleaned and waxed polished. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
