London: R. Wilkin, 1728.
Printed for R. Wilkin. In St. Paul’s Church Yard, 1727.

In each instance the "8" is inked over the existing "7" in "1727," presumably to save the cost of printing new title pages a year after the date of original publication
This is the first English thumb Bible in prose, all earlier editions having been in verse.

Well illustrated with sixteen (now fifteen) charming copperplate engravings, including two frontispiece illustrations (one 'Holy Holy Holy' prior to the main text missing, see last photo).
Contemporary full calf elaborately decorated in gilt with silver clasp.
Good binding.
All edges gilt.
