Antique Early Treen 19thc Engine Turned Inkwell with Original Glass . English C1860-80.

Description

A very good example of an "engine" turned inkwell....it is turned out of lignum vitae and has the most beautiful patterns decorating it on the top, side and the underneath....what is unusual is that it still retains the original hand blown glass ink bottle....usually they are missing or cracked....it has gained a very good colour and is in excellent condition.
