Antique and Unique has dated these Masons Ironstone Dessert Dishes to the 19th Century.
It is similar to the more common ‘Japan Basket’ pattern, but more intricate. The plates are hand decorated and the pattern varies slightly between them. These beautiful dishes would have been used as desert plates, and have a deep moulded shell like shape.

For sale as a pair.
Condition: No chips, cracks, damage or restoration to either plate, but the gold gliding is a worn on both where they have been handled.
Please note the dimensions given are approximate as the sizes vary ever so slightly between the plates.
