Long Arm Book Shop Library Book Grabber.

This useful long arm library book grabber which is made of wood with brass fittings dates from the 19th Century, has a great colour and patina and is in excellent condition.
 
This antique reacher which is approx 152 cm in length has a brass claw at the end and brass lever mechanism which all works well.
 
This grabber would have been used in a library to reach books on high shelves or in a shop. Today this would make a really useful piece for the home that also looks great on display or ideal for use in a book shop, library, hotel, restaurant or bar.

Weight: 640 g.
 
Condition: Very good used antique condition with a nice patina and signs of use in keeping with age. The spring mechanism is in working order and the claw at the end grabs well.
