Description

Very useful and decorative 18th century George III period mahogany antique breakfast table, this table seats six comfortably with lots of leg room while taking up very little floor space at all. The timber is lovely, the colour and patina just as good as one could hope for, the top tilts and the base is well balanced and with generous shape and length to the legs. The close reeding on top of the legs is a delight and we are especially fond of the ebonised (or ebony?) cross banding. This would make a great breakfast table but also would be a very elegant centre table, hall table, sofa table or writing desk.
