English Georgian, baluster turned lignum vitae hard wood police truncheon, circa 1780.
 
Original hand painted GR with crown.
 
All original in good sound condition, shrinkage hairline on one edge, associated chips and wear, no other damage or repair.
 
Glowing patina throughout
