Superb Stanley London Boxed Dumpy Level

1900 - 1920
Description

Superb, highest quality, early 20th century Stanley of London Engineers Dumpy level in original mahogany box. Stanley of London were famed for making the highest quality scientific instruments ever produced. This example is in superb condition and was supplied in Scotland via their Glasgow branch in Queen Street. The level is stamped patent and has exactly the same numbers stamped on the level as on the label on the inside of the box.

There is very minor damage to the box above where the lock is at the front otherwise it is all in very good condition.
