Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1870s.
It is of superb quality and is a very useful size, not too deep from front to back.
The drawers also have nicely turned handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There are various very small marks here and there remaining beneath the polish, commensurate for age.
