A fine Regency mahogany wine table on a tripod base, the finely figured off-square top with a plain edge over a tripod with a turned cannon-barrel shaft with ebonised reeded turns and on a tripod of slender curved legs with boxwood stringing and raised on ball feet. English, circa 1810.
Condition: Excellent, the table is in very good condition with no damage or repairs, the top is unscathed and the tripod similar, there is some wear to the ebonised turns consistent with age, the legs are all perfect with no breaks or repairs, and overall the piece has a wonderful colour and appearance, with beautiful grain to the top, and it is a really lovely and elegant example of English Regency furniture at its most restrained.
