Mackenzie’s Tonsillotome marked and made by Maw London Polished steel Tonsil Guillotine with carved fluted ebony handle, circa 1860

The body edge with notch to align screw clamped removable bridge fitting, to give the option to reposition the handle for taking left or right tonsil.

Fully dismantles.

In good sound condition but with some black rust marking and pitting.
