STUNNING HISTORICAL SEPIA PHOTOGRAPH MOUNTED FROM THE OAK CHURCH ALTAR 1921

Brief Description:

This is a stunning quality historical and original Oak Framed and glazed Sepia Photograph depicting the magnificent interior of Grade I Listed St Lawrence Church, in Little Stanmore, Whitchurch.

The exceptional quality piece was commissioned in 1921 for the retirement of Dr Churchill Sibley (1858-1938), who was Director of the Queen's Music, England, and was later Archbishop Metropolitan of the Orthodox Catholic Church in the British Empire.

The Church elders had the piece mounted and framed in 1921 using the original heavy oak timber that originated from the church's historical Altar.

The piece is offered in outstanding original condition and it has a silver plated presentation plaque with engraved details of the recipient and church.
