The flush fitting lock plate with safety locking mechanism, edge engraved with foliate design with the maker’s name Wheeler, retained by bun nuts .
Rollers on toe of the frizzens, sliding safeties behind the French cocks.
Walnut half stocks with bag shaped chequered butts, trigger guards engraved with birds on oval shields with acanthus finials
The octagonal barrels engraved London.
Wooden ramrods tipped with horn.
