Hand painted and surface tooled icon, 19th century

Egg tempera on gessoed pine or linden wood panel with cross pieces let in and loosely attached to the back

Coin attached, Turkey, Ottoman Empire 5 para, 1327 (1909)

16,3/4" x 13,3/8" x 1" or 425mm x 340mm x 25mm

weight 1775 grams

In very good sound condition

the panel warped with chipped corner

The paint sound, well founded with some insignificant losses

Good and bright, not cleaned or restored
