Dark brown heartwood body with flashes of lighter sapwood, original patinated surface.
Expertly turned with fine detailed ring decoration.

The pierced sprinkler disk fitted to the one piece body,
the powdered cuttlefish bone 'sand' loaded through the dished sprinkler disk
as was the method at this period.
In excellent condition, noting typical shrinkage surface splits.
Height 2,7/16" or 62mm, diameter 2,3/4" or 7mm, weight 156 grams.
