Description

Antique Jaques's boxed PARACHUTE TOP, spinning top game, awarded two prize medals in 1862.

The launcher complete with six painted conical discs made from turned and painted boxwood .

Lively game, set spinning with string pull, parachute discs released by lifting spinning launcher.

The game is to bet on which colour disc spins for the longest - some spin for a long time!

Original mahogany box, printed label, instruction sheet and string pull.

Tiddlywink type betting counters not present.

In excellent all original condition with no splits or repairs.

Diameter of launcher top 68mm or 2,5/8" , gross weight 204 grams
