Decorative Painted Antique Writing Table

This late 19th Century Decorative Painted Antique Writing Table / Dressing Table dates from ca. 1890 and is stamped by the renowned S & H Jewell. It has a moulded edge above two drawers with blind fret work carvings and original Rococo brass handles. This fine antique writing table stands on four cabriole legs with original porcelain castors. It has elegant fine carvings and decorative gilt areas and has been beautifully waxed using a traditional beeswax finish.

Height: 76 cm / 30 inches

Width: 97 cm / 38 inches

Depth: 56 cm / 22 inches
