Substantial English oak 19th century marble top console table, circa 1880.
Beautifully carved scroll legs with acanthus leaves and upturned tulips, down to scrolling feet on a raised plinth base.
Interesting piece with a nod to the Arts and Crafts style, dark charcoal with white vein marble too.
Good solid condition, wonderful colour to the oak and some age marks to the plinth base.
Measuring:
36 3/4 inches or 93.5 cm high
47 1/4 inches or 120 cm maximum width
23 1/2 inches or 59.5 cm deep
