Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
It is of superb quality, with a stunning original grey marble top and mahogany base.
The marble top has a moulded edge, it is very thick and well made. The top is supported by a circular mahogany frieze which has a lovely beaded edge.
The legs are also beautifully carved with fine details and paw feet, which sit on original brass casters.
The condition is excellent for its age, we have just had the mahogany base fully re-polished. The marble top is in excellent condition, with no damage to be seen.
