This Quality Mahogany Antique Sofa Table dates from the Edwardian period ca. 1910 has a beautifully figured flamed Mahogany top with string inlay. The two drop leaves are supported by hinged brackets and extends to a large size. This sits above two working drawers with cock-beaded edges and decorative brass handles. The two sides are supported by four out-swept moulded legs with brass lion paw castors. This fine antique table has a central turned pedestal and the Mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
