Description

A stunning French console table, beautifully made from mahogany, which I would date from around the 1920-30’s period.

It has a gorgeous shape and is a useful size. The top has a satin wood inlay border and book matched mahogany veneers. The construction is all solid mahogany and this has extremely fine quality gilt bronze mounts all over. The mounts are naturally aged with quite a bit of the gilding rubbed off. I think this actually adds to the overall character.

We have just had this French polished, it is in excellent condition for its age, with a lovely patina.

Width – 41 inches , 103 cm

Depth – 19 inches , 49 cm

Height – 32 inches , 80 cm
