This fine table has been re-constructed in the late 19th or early 20th century using three early 19th century pedestals with handsome turned columns, square platforms and elegant swept legs with animal paw brass castors. The top is also 19th century , in well-figured mahogany, re-claimed from another piece.
Nothing is seriously wrong and it is ready to use as is or could be restored if you require 'show-room' condition.

It has come straight from an idyllic Georgian rectory in the Kent countryside, where it was photographed.
