It has a large beautifully figured circular moulded top above an unusual base with central carved pedestal and four out-swept supports. This super piece stands on a moulded plinth with the most spectacular lion paw carved feet and the mahogany has aged to a rich warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
