This super piece has a rectangular top with rounded corners with figured banded edge and the early / original blue tooled leather writing insert. It has elegant shaped corner brackets and central mahogany lined frieze drawer with beautifully scrolled splayed upright supports and elegant turned cross stretcher. This stunning antique stands on scrolled feet with castors and is full of the beautiful charm and character than you can expect to find with a piece of this age. The rosewood has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
