Description

A superb George IV Library Partners Desk of large proportions attributed to renowned makers "Gillows" of London and Lancaster. This high quality desk made using the finest figured Mahogany. The moulded top with inset old green leather, having an arrangement of 3 working Mahogany lined drawers to each side, all retaining their original locks and key. The whole raised on a stunning turned and gadrooned base, terminating in trestle ends with carved scrolled feet with the original inset castors. Wonderful colour, patina and lustre throughout. English, Circa 1825

Dimensions: Height: 75.5 cm - 29 3/4 Inches, Width: 168 cm - 66 Inches, Depth: 107cm - 42 Inches.
