This table can be used as a side table & brought out for use when needed. It dates from around the 1830-40 period. The top spins around & rests on the underneath section, which has an inset panel & carved ends. This all sits on a round central column which goes into a shaped platform base with hairy paw feet which have brass casters underneath. This is definitely one of the nicer examples of this model that I've had.
