Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
It stands on tapered legs with squared tapered feet in an Arts and Crafts style. The top is made of quarter sawn oak revealing wonderful medulla rays. Solid and substantial it is in very good condition, having recently been given a glossy/French polish style finish. It comes complete with protective covers help prevent scratches.
