Strictly Vetted Dealers

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.

Secure Transit

Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

The Sustainable Choice

Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Period19th century
SizeH 91 cm (36 in) x W 177.5 cm (70 in) x D 59 cm (23 in)

This early 19th-century English bowfront console table provides a functional surface with three integrated drawers across the frieze. The piece is finished in a muted blue paint with lighter blue decorative painted border lines framing each drawer front, accompanied by cast brass oval drop handles and key escutcheons. The table stands on four slender, square-tapered legs with shaped aprons beneath the drawers and a gently curved front edge. Signs of age appear as subtle surface wear to the painted finish and softened edges on the woodwork. Measuring 91 cm high, 177.5 cm wide and 59 cm deep, the table sits comfortably against a hallway or living room wall for display and storage. Practical proportions make this console table suitable for placement in an entrance hall, dining room or sitting room interior. The surface accommodates lamps, decorative objects or books, while the drawers offer convenient storage for keys, stationery or table linens. The traditional styling and painted finish complement both classic and contemporary British interior schemes without overpowering surrounding furniture.
