Description

Magnificent late C18th carved stone 19ft scale replica of a castle / chateau wall; the ends with raised tapering towers having a central arched door, arrow slits and terminating with castellated parapets raised on stepped corbels. The lefthand side tower having a pair of armorial sheilds depicting a fort and a rampant lion below a crown of a Count; the righthand side tower depicting an unusual key and wheel type motif below a scroll. The long curtain wall with a series of inset stonework arches having two raised octagonal turrets with castellated tops. The wall is in six sections so can be used in alternative formats.

French circa 1800

Good condition commensurate of age and weathering with some minor losses
