Two French Wooden Decoy Ducks.

1900 - 1920
Description

These two decorative and original antique decoy ducks which are made of wood still have some of the remains of their original paint showing, have painted metal eyes, are fitted with bottom balance weights and are nice early ones.

These two wonderful ducks which came from the Loire region of France have lots of charming wear and old repairs which give them a great rustic look.

A very nice couple of decorative folk art ducks with lots of character and charm that look great on display.

Approx dimensions of each: Length: 28 cm (11"). Width: 13 cm (5"). Height: 16 cm (6 1/2").

Condition: Well used original antique condition with lots of charming age related wear, cracks, chips, missing parts and flaking paint leaving a wonderful decorative look. Wood has dried. Old worm / shot holes.

Please note that only the two ducks are included and any other items in the pictures are for scale only.
