Antique Treen & Collectables 18thc Scottish Powder Horn Dated 1792

Description

A rare 18thc Scottish powder horn, beautifully decorated with flowers and geometric patterns, but what makes this item so desirable, is that its engraved with the makers name and date.....it reads "This Horn made by Robert Wyatt X Anno 1792 X " .....the horn has an excellent colour and patination and is in fine condition with no cracks .....it even still retains the original leather band used to connect it to a shoulder strap....

Scottish. Dated 1792.
