Superb Police Truncheon

1900 - 1920
Description

A really lovely example of a 1920s truncheon. It is polychrome-decorated with the king's cypher and George Regina initials, and has the word "Constable" hand painted across the shaft. This superb policeman's hardwood truncheon is in original condition and has a wonderful untouched glowing patina. It is true and straight, with no splits or repairs. English, c.1920s.
