Horn Beaker by Mappin & Webb

1900 - 1920
Description

This antique beaker which was skilfully made using a section of bovine horn is by Mappin & Webb, has a silver plated rim, blank silver plated shield cartouche to the front and dates from the early 20th century.

A handsome cup by a top maker that would make a wonderful beaker for storing barware items.

Marked: Mappin & Webb's. Prince's Plate. London & Sheffield. Triple Deposit.

Dimensions: Diameter at top: 8 cm (3"). Height: 14 cm (5 1/2").

Condition: Excellent antique condition with only light signs of use in keeping with age.

Please note that only the beaker is included and any other items in the pictures are for scale only.
