A fantastic regency chess table, the rare Devonshire marble top with inlaid chess board of different specimen marbles, set within a frame and base of gilt brass, consisting of four swept cluster column legs with shaped centre stretcher and terminating in 4 fine hairy paw feet. Superb quality and wonderful visual appeal. Circa 1820
