19th Century Artists Pallet Apparently Owned by J. M. W Turner

Description

With an old printed paper label to verso for “Mr Joseph Turner” plus the pallet makers/suppliers stamp now only just legible “-ZRA HO----, Patent, ---Pavitt & Sons, sole agent, London” and the remains of Pavitts trade label “Pavitt & Sons, 70 Southampton Row, London”.

20cm Wide.

Provenance: A well-known local antique dealer (now deceased) from his own collection. Unfortunately, we have no other provenance or documentation to add to this.
