Description

An item of luggage in the best condition we've ever seen; a small to medium sized leather suitcase, ideal for use as an overnight bag or to simply display as part of a collection of English luggage. All six faces of this case are of astonishing quality and condition with the finest stitching and superb colour. The handle is solid and strong, and the sprung catches click shut perfectly. Internally there is an original moiré silk lining with compartments used, when made, for toiletries and grooming brushes etc. It is made by the highly respected London manufacturer J Pound & Co. A top quality example in sublime condition. English, c.1920s.
