Description

This is a really large early Victorian solid wood frame in super condition with a good water gilded finish. The deep heavy frame is solid in construction with old gallery labels and original heavy metal hangers to the back. This is in very nice clean condition having been regilded in the traditional manner with water gilding gold leaf.

The frame is an excellent size measuring 156 cms by 103 cms overall. The aperture is 73 cms by 124.5 cms while the opening at the back to receive the picture or mirror glass is 75.5 cms by 127 cms.
