Description

This stunning antique walking stick which has a beautifully crafted silver handle in the form of a hound dog has a bamboo shaft with a brass ferrule.

This high quality stick has a good length at 93 cm long, is fully hallmarked for 1903 and is made by top specialist cane and stick manufacturer Henry Howell & Co Ltd.

This beautiful cane is in excellent usable condition and would make a wonderful piece for a walking stick collector.

Hallmarked: Lion for sterling silver. Leopards head for London. Date letter h for 1903. Makers mark J.H for Henry Howell & Co Ltd. F.

Dimensions: Length: 93 cm (36 1/2"). Width at widest part of handle: 11.5 cm (4 1/2").

Total weight: 196 g.

Condition: Very good usable antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some general wear. Some blackening and surface cracks to the underside of the cane but very solid and strong.
