Dating to around 1880, this is a wonderful Victorian bookslide made from Walnut with highly decorative polished brass mounts to each end. The brass mounts are enhanced with decorative engraving.

Excellent condition, the base measuring 13 3/4" long extending to 21" x 5 1/2 " wide.
