The drawer with the original swan-neck handle and brass escutcheon. The legs on this very pretty table are really quite unusual and beautifully crafted, being chamfered on all sides and elegantly tapered, standing on fluted block shaped tapering feet with brass castors, united by an X stretcher. Good rich patina to the wood, with expected character and signs of age and use. A historic repair to the centre of the left drop-leaf, shown in the pictures, very hard to detect as it is very well restored.
