Japanese late Edo period miniature teppo matchlock (Tanegashima) pistol, the 6cm octagonal iron barrel with front and rear sights, circular white metal barrel inlay, wooden stock with brass furniture. Measures 13cm x 4cm x 3cm, weight 163g.
