A antique Edwardian heavy oak shield for the mounting of a taxidermy item
Dating to around 1909 , this is a fine example and it is excellent original condition
Has a sturdy steel bar on the reverse for wall mounting
It measures 25 inches high, 19 inches in width at its widest point and is 2 inches deep
