Description

Fine Quality Late 19C Kidney Shaped Rosewood Inlaid 1 Drawer Table. The top finely inlaid with bone and tulipwood foral splay. The edge of top and sides crossbanded in kingwood with boxwood outline stringing. The concave sides and oak lined concave fronted drawer, having brass knob handle, decorated with bone tied ribbons holding tulipwood swags within bone strung frames. The drawer stamped Edwards & Roberts also having an internal ivorine plaque inscribed Edwards & Roberts Wardour St. 126 Piccadilly, 532, Oxford St. London. Flowerhead panels in frames above the square tapered legs which have stringing. These joined by an undertier similarly inlaid as the top with a strung edge.
