A superb quality Victorian mahogany writing table.
c.1860.
The rectangular top has a highly decorated inset tan gold-tooled leather writing surface, over three mahogany lined drawers of fine dove-tail construction, with turned bun handles, retaining the original brass locks and escutcheons, having working keys.
Standing on elegant turned tapering supports, with the original brass castors.
The table is large enough to accommodate two people either side if required.
In excellent antique condition.
Very solid, sturdy, strong and robust.
