Description

This is a good quality Georgian period picture frame in superb original condition dating from around 1800. The rosewood veneer is in beautiful condition with a nice colour and patina.

This would be ideal for a good miniature portrait or smaller painting.

It measures 17 cms by 15.5 cms overall.

The aperture of the gilt inner slip is 9 cms by 7.5 cms.

The opening at the back for the picture is 11 cms by 9 cms.
